Today is COSSEP (Coalition of State Supported EducationalPrograms) & RECA ( Regional Educational Cooperatives) Day at the Roundhouse. NMSD is grateful for this opportunity to increase visibility and raise awareness about our students and programs. We are sharing a table with the New Mexico School f/t Blind and Visually Impaired, and it's wonderful to spend time with Superintendent Patty Beecher and Special Education Director Heather Miller.
Students coming to NMSD Santa Fe from Alb/RR that usually ride the NMSD bus will ride the #517 train tomorrow and Wednesday, January 30-31, which is scheduled to arrive at Sandoval Co./US 550 at 6:46am and at LR/JC at 6:34am. Afternoon bus drop off as per usual.

Students will go iceskating at Genoveva Chavez Community Center, then have pizza and a party at the Roadrunner Activity Center at NMSD.

Second place went to Gabriel who shared, "I dream of a world where animals have a happy and safe place to live." Third place went to Mateo who shared, "I dream of a world where the environment is not toxic to Earth." Their posters are beautiful and their dreams for a more peaceful world are inspiring.
