The Esperanza "Espie" C. Latimer Auditorium Dedication and Naming celebration was held for students yesterday and for the community today. It was a time to honor our beloved Espie and to remember her passion, commitment, and love for NMSD. Her son and daughter-in-law, family, friends, students, staff, alumni, and retirees were in attendance. So many wonderful memories were shared about Espie who was an extraordinary force of nature and an inspiration to all who knew her. We will forever cherish and miss you Espie!

Yesterday was the first home game of the basketball season for all Middle School and Varsity teams! It was a great way to open the season as we swept all the games. We look forward to cheering for our teams for the rest of the season!
