Summer Programs

Student Summer Camp

When the weather is warm, fun and learning continues! NMSD’s student adventure summer camp promotes safe hands-on, experiential learning opportunities for students from Early Childhood through the 8th grade.

The camp is divided into two groups:

  • Early Childhood through 2nd grade - Day Camp with a routine schedule and includes both indoor and outdoor activities.

  • Grades 3-8 - Overnight camp with fun and games throughout the entire day when students are encouraged to experience a wide variety of outdoor activities, including camping, water sports, and survival skills.

NMSD’s summer camp is designed for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children from New Mexico. Students are placed based on their upcoming grade for the fall. Eligibility and availability may vary from year to year and priority is given to current NMSD students.
